We Believe the Word of God is true and infallible.
We Believe in one God (Deuteronomy 6:4) who created all things.
We Believe that God came down as a man (Jesus) to pay the price for our sins and is alive forevermore.
We Believe in order to be saved one must repent of their sins (Acts 17:30), be baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus (Acts 2:38) and receive the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 19:6).
We Believe in living a holy lifestyle that is pleasing to God (Hebrews 12:14).
We Believe that Jesus is coming back to take us to Heaven (John 14:3, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17)!
In 1979 David Norris felt the call of God to start a church in the town of West Bend, Wisconsin. He obeyed and established the Full Gospel Church. David Norris pastored for 5 years growing the church and teaching the Word of God. After that time, he felt God call him to teach at a bible school. It was at this same time that James Booker heard the call of God to take over the church in West Bend. Pastor James, and his wife Mary, have lead the church in West Bend for 32 years! Through those years God has greatly blessed the Full Gospel Church - it grew spiritually and numerically and was no longer able to remain in its current location. In 1994, 15 acres of land were purchased and the current facility was built. Since then the church has continued to grow and talks of another expansion are underway! We are very grateful for God's provision and the vision of Pastor Booker.
Pastor and Sis. Booker began evangelizing and preaching the gospel across America after graduating from Apostolic Bible Institute. After a few years of ministering, God called them to become the pastor of the Full Gospel Church where they have remained for over 30 years. Such committment shows that the Bookers are the some of the most loving and genuine people and exemplify the love of Christ everyday. Pastor and Sister Booker have preached in many conferences, camps, and churches around the world. Their ministry has reached into Canada, Mexico, England, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and all across the United States because they have a desire to obey the comission to go into all the world and preach the gospel. With such a passion and a love for the people of West Bend, it truly is an honor to have ministers of their caliber leading our church.
